Teesdale Triathlon

500m swim, 17 mile bike, 4.4 mile run

In a conversation with the coach Colin Gardener I commented "Now I'm in the top ten I can finally see the podium as a realistic target and think we should definitely have a go next year". Little did I know I would get my wish so soon on a extremely windy and on occasion wet sunday afternoon. I won and couldn't believe it, the swim was good, the bike was so windy it was like holding the brakes on but my legs felt great and the run felt just as good. So my first race win was at Teesdale Triathlon, however with Helvellyn next week the celebrations will have to be put on hold:)
