21 year old Gary Blakie has completed the race of his life, competing in the 2005 Triathlon Age-Group World Championships despite having to tackle the many challenges of diabetes.

Gary's achievement shows that diabetes should not and need not dictate your lifestyle, and that the disease shouldn't hamper the pursuit of sporting goals and other ambitions.
